About the event
Who are the IFBA? 

The IFBA is the UK fitness industry’s number-one business consultancy service. For gyms that want to be the best, our pioneering coaching programmes offer access to our proven approach and systems as well as teachings from the world’s fitness pioneers. IFBA-affiliated gyms set the benchmark that is now recognised throughout the industry.

Who will be attending the IFBA Live? 

The event is open to all both members and non-members of the IFBA. A full delegate list will be available nearer the time. Speakers confirmed across the two days are Pete Dupis, Dan John, Alwyn Cosgrove, Dave Wright, Chris Burgess, Frank Nash, Ali Gilbert and Mark Fisher. A full itinerary is available here.

Where is the IFBA LIVE being held? 

The Slate at Warwick Conferences is a beautifully designed and well-connected venue on the Warwick University campus near Coventry. You can read more about the venue here.

Tickets
How do I buy tickets?

You can buy tickets online here. Tickets will be available at a discounted rate for a limited time, so we advise buying your ticket(s) as early as possible.

I bought a ticket, but I didn’t receive it by email.

Tickets will be issued 2 weeks before the event. Before getting in touch, please check your email spam folder. If it’s not there, contact us via the contact form below, telling us which email address you used for the purchase, and we’ll re-send the ticket(s).

For which days are my ticket valid?

All tickets are valid for both days of the event. 

Can people buy tickets on the door?

Sorry, no, all tickets must be purchased online before the event.

Getting There
How do I get there?

The Slate has excellent public transport links, and full directions to the venue can be found here.

Is there parking?

There is free parking available on site at The Slate for all delegates.

Accomodation
Is there a gym on site?

Yes, there is a state-of-the-art gym and pool onsite that delegates can use at a discounted price.

Is accommodation included in the ticket price?

Sorry, no, but you can book accommodation at the venue here. The venue is offering excellent single rooms at an exclusive discounted B&B rate for delegates at £68+VAT for the 12th July.

Can I book a twin room?

Yes, the link to book a twin room is here at a discounted B&B rate of £80.50 + VAT for the 12th July.

Can I book a twin room with a double bed?

Yes, book a room with a double bed here and when you are entering your booking details use the Booking Notes Tab to request that a double bed is required.

Can I book to stay the night before the event?

Yes, bookable on a first come, first served basis, just alter the arrival date to the 11th. However, the discounted rate is not applicable.

Can I book to stay the night after the event?

Yes, you can book any other nights by contacting the Reservations Team on reservations@warwick.ac.uk or call 024 76 573925 and then quote the IFBA reference number 1138130.

Will there be food available?

Lunch will be served during the event, and tea and coffee will be available in each of the breaks. Please make us aware prior to the event of any specific dietary requirements via the contact form below.

Can I have dinner at the venue on the Friday?

There is a lounge menu at the Slate, which is subject to availability. To book the restaurant please email Michelle.Hayton@warwick.ac.uk.

Opening Times
What are the event opening times?

The event times are 9.30 – 18.30 on Friday 12th July and 9.30 –17.30 on Saturday 13th July. Registration opens at 8.30 on Friday morning.

Will I need ID?

Your ticket is all you need to gain entry.

Do I need to book to see a speaker?

No, all talks and panels are included in the ticket price.
